Eat 5 a day<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3042dfe elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3042dfe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Eat at least five portions of vegetables and fruit a day. This will reduce considerably the risk of a stroke, diabetes, heart disease and cancer.<\/p><p><strong>What counts as a portion?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>80g fresh, frozen or canned fruits and vegetables. Canned fruit and vegetables should be in natural juice or water, with no added sugar or salt.<\/li><li>30g dried fruit (this is equivalent to around 80g of fresh fruit). Eat at mealtimes rather than as a snack to reduce the risk of tooth decay.<\/li><\/ul><p>The below count as one portion a day, no matter how much you eat.<\/p><ul><li>150ml fruit juice, vegetable juice or smoothie. Limit the amount to 150 ml per day to reduce risk of tooth decay.<\/li><li>\u00a080g beans and pulses.
